Owen and Haatchi i a story about a boy (Owen) and how he has Schwartz- Jampel Syndrome. This causes a persons muscles to contract greatly sometimes making them look like bodybuilders. This is very painful. He was diagnosed with this syndrome when he was 2 years old. I think my teacher showed us this video because Owen persevered over challenges such as being alone and the pain that he has. Also to show us what friendship really means. Haatchi is the dog he got when he was 6 years old. Haatchi is an Anatolian Shepherd. Haatchi was found chained to a railroad missing a leg and half of the tail. A worker at the said railroad found haatchi and got help. Haatchi was a great and very important suprise to 6 year old owen and they have a very strong relationship. It was like they understood what happened to the other the moment they met. They have a very strong relationship to this day.

This relates to me because I have a friend with a german shepherd and they are great friends. Always playing with each other. When my friend leaves the house the german shepherd starts whining and sounds quite miserable. I think this story is very inspiring and made happy and sad at the same time

Dear, Jordan
I loved how descriptive you were on Owen's syndrome and how important it sounded. You know, someone might feel very sorry for him, even Haatchi. It actually sounded very serious when you described that he was really hurt. Nice job on the blog though.
